North Cheshire Riders was formed in April 2003. We are particularly active in the Warford, Mobberley, Knutsford, Alderley Edge and Wilmslow areas of Cheshire, England as this is within hacking distance of most members. However we want to help to improve access for other horse riders and make a safer riding environment. We are doing this by giving you details of good local rides in Cheshire and the Peak District, campaigning for safer riding on highways and opening new permissive routes and 'lost' old bridleways. We have also started a Toll Ride, the first in the North West, in Ashley, Cheshire. Advice on improving your own off road riding, setting up a Toll Ride and taking your horse on holiday will be the subjects of a series of articles.
Annual membership of North Cheshire Riders is just £10 for email members or £15 for postal members. To join please send a cheque (either £10 or £15) made out to North Cheshire Riders, c/o Laureen Roberts, 55 Mereheath Park, Knutsford, Cheshire WA16 6AS.
